Can you spell these basic words? These particular words are taught to schoolchildren aged 11 to 14. They are used every day but how many of them can you actually spell correctly?
Spelling was one of the things I actually enjoyed whilst I was at school. It helps increase your vocabulary and understanding of literature. I have to admit it did not come easy but not many things in life do come easy.
These days there are many challenges to learning how to spell. It’s my belief that technology such as automatic spell checkers can make the brain lazy.
