Kids Classic TV Quiz 60s, 70 and 80s – The Magic Roundabout to Ivor The Engine. Personally, I always found Dylan a bit of a Stoner. Was the guy was called Rusty or Brian? Feel free to let me know via our Facebook Group. I do remember the character on a spring was called Zebedee. I am certain that the cow was called Ermentrude.

In the 1970s the British comedian Jasper Carrot had a song that parodied the Magic Roundabout. It became really popular it still makes me laugh today. If my memory serves me correctly it was the B side of his Funky Moped hit single record.

Ivor the Engine was another great seventies kids’ TV show. If memory serves me right friendly dragons lived in his firebox. I’m sure that the driver was a Welsh chap called Mr Jones. Get in touch if you can name any of the other characters. I am always willing to improve the classic kids’ TV quiz. I may even add your question.

A personal favourite of mine was Bagpuss. He was the soggy old cloth cat owned by Emily. He lived in the toy shop with some singing mice. Professor Yaffle and a strange banjo-playing frog. I was shocked when I recently found out that there were only 13 episodes. Yes, honestly that’s all there was.

Okay now sit up straight, concentrate and begin the Kids Classic TV Quiz below.
